Automated clash free text placement in drawings

May 11, 2007 -- SDET announces that the United States Patent and Trademark Office issued Patent number US 7,057,628 on June 6, 2006 for a 'Method for locating white space to support the automated creation of computer-based drawings that are virtually free of graphics and text overwrites'. This clash free text placement technology enables the automatic creation of high quality computer-based drawings by virtually eliminating text and graphics overwrites. It has broad practical application to a class of problems where drawings are created or updated from a non-graphic database. This technology is incorporated within the company's unique automated connection design solution for steel structures.
